eForensics Magazine 2018 05 Open Source Tools and their Developers UPDATED.pdf |
Dear Readers,
We’re proud to present the newest issue of eForensics Magazine, which is dedicated to the topic of open-source tools. It’s a special edition - and it’s FREE!
For this publication, we invited developers of tools to prepare tutorials that explain how their tools work and what they can do. The issue also includes many interviews from which we can learn plenty of interesting things - about the tools and about the developers themselves. This edition has a number of goals, first and foremost we hope that you will learn a lot of new things, but also improve your skillset, expand your toolbox and maybe get inspired to create a forensic open-source tool on your own! Every tool presented can be found on GitHub or GitLab (links are provided inside), so if you want to support the author, we encourage you to do so!
We would also want to thank all authors, developers, reviewers and proofreaders for participating in this project. You all create a unique community thanks to which we can do what we do. If you like this publication you can share it, tell your family and friends about it or tell us your comments.
It’s the end of this talk, now everybody clicks the download button!
Regards,
Dominika Zdrodowska
and the eForensics Magazine Editorial Team
