Ladies and Gentlemen,
we proudly announce the release of the first eForensics Magazine Database issue!

After weeks of tough work it’s ready for download and, as promised, it’s full of exciting content.
Before moving to the main part, which is the content, let me share a couple of reflections from the editorial office.

As I said, sometimes it was difficult – working under time pressure is neither easy nor pleasant. What or rather who was making it easier all along the way was the authors, betatesters, proofreaders and other well-wishing persons. All of them extremely competent and kind. Without your effort it would not have been possible. It seems that we’ve taken the right direction and the foundations for the eForensics community have been laid. The community which we invite you to join!

Now to the point, the issue features three articles.

1. The myth of PS3, Xbox360 and Nintendo Wii being innocent toys falls into pieces thanks to the comprehensive analysis by Walter Ridgewell. His article – The New Game is a must. This lengthy research paper accompanied by numerous images is the bible in this topic.
We don’t forget about our SQL enthusiasts. Two more:
2. Together with Michael M. Nelson you’ll solve The Mystery of the Un-Clickable Checkbox, learn how to begin an investigation, read what should not be overlooked and see how it applies in a real-life case. Seems basic, but it’s not that simple! Also professionals can learn something from this article.
3. And if you’re really ambitious, check The Introduction to Varints by Chris Lees. That surely is a challenging one. If you’re more into practice – the section on the Cerberus is for you. A free-accessible tool that makes life easier described by its creator.

All ready for download in the simple and clear format of an ebook!
