Scenario: Murder case
Background to the case
On September 15, a man was found shot dead; he was found at a popular swimming spot in Liljeholmen in Stockholm.
The suspected murder weapon was found in a grove of trees not far from the murder scene.
The coroner determined that the victim was murdered on September 13 between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
The murder weapon was confiscated by forensic technicians, who sent it to the Swedish National Forensic Centre (NFC) for further investigation.
What we currently know about the weapon is the following:
1.Model: Walther
2.Serial number: 107676
The police found a yellow note in the victim's wallet with the name and mobile number of a person named Allan Ericsson. Allan was previously known to the police for drug offences, among other things.
The police questioned Allan Ericsson but he denied that he was involved in the murder.
A house search was carried out at Allan's residence.
A computer, an HP Envy x360, was found there and confiscated for further investigation by IT forensics.
The police's IT forensic team made a forensic copy of the HP Envy x360 laptop.
Allan also had an iPhone 7 Plus on him at the time of arrest, but he claimed to have found it and said he would go to the police and hand it in.
The cell phone was on but locked with a password.
Now, the prosecutor wants an answer to the following question:
